Preface

There are many reasons why you want to set it manually. Maybe you want to write a script yourself to adjust it or your current Desktop Environment/Window Manager does not provide this features.

The mechanism behind the thresholds is being set by two files which called charge_start_threshold and charge_stop_threshold. Once you opened the two files they only include number. You have to change these two values. They dictate from which battery percentage the threshold should start and when it should end.
